2005 39s Excursion -Wiring Question

Hello All, We have a 2005 39s Fleetwood Excursion and we recently replaced the house batteries in our coach. In doing so there was a balck wire that was connected to one of the positive terminals that snapped. We went to a couple of RV shops in the neighborhood and none of them have ever seen this. The balck wire has 6 different colored wires inside of it. When you look at the terminal connection it seems to be insulated with some sort of ceramic material and covered in a red rubber sleeve. Does anyone know what these wires are and if there is a shop where we can buy a replacement part?

Thanks in advance,
DW Speidel

Check your Converter/Charger. Some have a temperature sensor on the battery to monitor charging rate. Have you tested as many systems as possible to see if something is now not working? Try the battery boost and battery isolation switches, they are sometimes wired separately.
