I can't say for certain this is where yours is...but on my 38S the compressor fuse was located behind the two fuse blocks under the center swing out dash. After disconnecting batteries...the fuse blocks were removed. It was taped into the wire harness near the blower motor. It's a glass cartridge fuse...and in the picture I have attached the fuse was removed and just the two connectors (circled) are shown.

There is a service manual for the system that finally helped me locate it. I looked for 3 days. I have the manual, and holler if you would like a copy.

So I am traveling across the country and my dash air went out, no light on control panel. I stopped by Motorhomes of Texas and asked if they could take a look at it. Nice shop, great people and lots of parking with electric and water. Here is what they discovered, burned up compressor clutch and dryer. Replaced, recharged etc... no dash light....checked all fuses in the fuse box....all good. So loosened the 2 fuse boxes under the center swing out. Found 2 inline fused (one blown) replaced and everything works now. They were taped to the wires.

There is a reason the fuse blew, look at the center nut on the compressor clutch and see if anything in melted etc...
