go to this website and download a RV buying checklist. Then go over the coach with with checklist. You will find there are things on the checklist that you never thought of or would ever look at.

We downloaded a checklist and took it with us when we bought our MH and spent a couple of hours inspecting the coach. The salesman was happy but I don't care it isn't his money. I found several things broken on the awning and inside the coach and they sent me the new parts at their cost.

Remember, if you don't inspect it thoroughly now once you buy it, it is yours!

Also check the hitch rating and see how much it can tow. Then check you car, that you want to tow, and make sure it is under the hitch weight rating. It takes the whole MH weight to determine how much you can tow so don't think just because the hitch says it can handle 5,000 lbs that you can upgrade it to a 10,000 lb hitch. I know I tried and no "certified" hitch store or chassis maintenance place will do it at all.
