2005 Expedition on the roof above the passenger seat.

Anyone know what this is, on the roof of my 2005 Excursion above the passenger seat?

Thatís what it is. Wind senser. Looks like you need to do some recaulking on your roof

Thanks for the replys. I thought that might be what it it is, but was not sure.



It definitely needs to be re-caulked. A tree limb almost took it off. The housing is cracked and I wanted to me sure there was no need to replace it.


Do you know if there is a way to make it less sensitive? The slightest breeze makes the awning retract, so I don't even turn it on.
