2005 Fleetwood Discovery Dash Problems

Went on a trip, came home and parked the RV. A week later went out to RV to start it and put the slides out for another good pretrip cleaning. The Annunciator lights came on with the key but never went off. The guages never reset with a sweep like normal. The Information Center screen never comes to life either. No changes have been made and the RV has not moved since all worked fine. Thoughts ?

First off, Welcome to IRV2!

What's the condition of your chassis batteries? Low batteries could cause similar symptoms. The other possibilities are the starter solenoid or a bad ground.

Batteries are in Great condition, fully charged. The engine will start and run great also. I just have no guages and the idiot lights stay on.

Welcome to iRV2

Sorry your first post is about problems .

Gauge package is supplied by chassis manufacturer .
What chassis is your coach built on ? Freightliner ? Spartan ?

freightliner. I checked, twice, all the fuses and relays thinking that was the problem but all checks good with a multimeter. Activate the parking lamps and the gauge cluster lights up. the blinkers light up and work. It seems like I am not getting any signal from the ECU to powerup the guages. The Information Center display will not power up either. Very Frustrating.

Hello, try disiconnection all power to coach for approximately 30 minutes. This should reset your ecu and maybe it will put everything back as it was. Good luck

If a hard reset ; buy removing power ; doesn't fix the issue .

Here's some reading material on the system.

There is a connector on the back side of my annunciator panel, and connectors for the gauges as well. My annunciator panel connector manages to wiggle itself loose from time to time causing my annunciator lights to "roll" from left to right, top to bottom, then back continuously. Not the same issue that you're having, but the connectors behind the dash could be the issue. My dash panel comes off with six screws, if I'm remembering correctly. I have a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion 40S....
