2005 Fleetwood Flair 31A Workhorse Chassis

I am in search of the front left and right headlights for my 2005 Fleetwood Flair 31A ( I have major oxidation on headlamps, tried cleaning with multiple solutions, still having issues with brightness and appeal. I called the Fleetwood parts department and received a quote of $361 per headlight. First, why are these headlights so expensive? Second is it better to replace with aftermarket headlights? Please advise.

clark332001-

The current headlights should have the manufacturer's name and part number embossed on them, and the federal government's "type" identifiers. If you can find the part number and search for it on the Internet, you can turn up sources for replacements, as well as finding out from which car and truck (make, model, year) they came.

get some 400 or 600 wet sandpaper and see if this will clean them up. If it does, then follow this with some 1000 paper, then mask them off and spray with some rattle can clear urethane.

Flair headlights

I know this is an old thread but this may help others. I bought some new 90's Ford Bronco headlights for my Flair from Rock Auto. These were an exact replacement for my 2000 Flair.
