2005 Fleetwood Mallard Mystery Wires
I recently bought a 2005 Fleetwood Mallard 180CK TT. I am in the process of repairing some water damage. While putting it back together, I'm realizing I have two wires in the ceiling that I don't know what they are for. They are a solid red and solid black 14g wire in the ceiling in line with the entrance door. The wires each have a female spade connector. I have several pictures from pre-demo that don't seem to show anything in this area that the wires might be for. I did find a photo online from a similar trailer that has what appears to be a speaker in this area. I measure about 80 ohms of resistance between the wires suffering they're connected to something, but do not have voltage on the wires in any condition i can find. I've attached some pics to clarify. Can anyone help me figure out what these wires are for? Is there something I'm missing or are these extra wires for an option I don't have or....? I have a feeling this isn't important but thought I'd ask around before I close it up just in case.

The Pinterest picture shows that thing to which you are pointing is a speaker.

14 gauge wire is a hefty branch circuit, usually rated for 15 amps. That's not speaker wires or a couple of ceiling lights.

That, then, rules out what's shown in the Pinterest pic the OP supplied.

actually 14ga is quite common for stereo installations, In my TT that is the same manufacturer as yours the speaker wire was 14ga or bigger i was surprised.. To figure out if it is actually a speaker wire pop your stereo out and look at the wire colors, you could then also take one of your other speakers and connect it to that line and double check if they are in fact speaker (after you verify their is no power going to those wires). Speaker wires will have the spade connector's as 2 different sizes so they will only plug into the negative or positive side of the speaker.
