2006 Bounder 38N

We are looking at a 2006 Bounder 38N with 31K miles. It seems to be in very good condition and looks nice. Tires only a year old with about 3K miles on them. We have agreed on what I think is a good price with the agreement that I can have an inspection done. Would anyone like to give their thoughts on this unit, such as performance with the 300HP C7 cat engine, ride or anything that I should be aware of? Thank you in advance.

Have a 2007 38N and have had for 3 yrs. and put 40k miles on since purchase. like the layout with the 3 slides with the 2 out front in living are gives plenty of room considering we have a 90lb dog. Ride is decent not great but tolerable. As for the the 300 CAT it is not the biggest motor out there and can't get out of it's own way going up hills but who is in a real hurry when RV'ing. Over all I would buy again and I am very happy with it for the most part.

2006 Bounder 38N

We have an 06 38J, 4 slides with the same motor. We have been quite happy with it (full timing) in both freezing and hot weather. The ride is not like one of the big boys as it does not have independent front suspension but with the tire pressures correctly set it is quite comfortable. The 300hp c6 is plenty to run it down the road. It won’t win a drag race and it won’t fly up a serious hill but learning how to drive and shift it will make a world of difference. We have passed many of the big guys on the hills and you should see their faces.
