2006 Bounder - What is this for ?

Above the drivers seat in the cabinet is this power supply box with wires that run into the wall behind the TV. Any idea what this is for ?? My only thought is that it is a power supply for the satellite antennae which I have never and will never use.

Well, darn, I thought that was an inverter but on closer inspection, I see it's a 12V PSU. I have no idea what that's for. An inverter makes since because TVs, sound bars, and satellite equipment is 120 Vac. Do you have a 12V TV up there? They did make them back in the day, pretty rare now but if you google 12Vdc flat screen TVs they do pop up. And the ad mentions RV use.

Well, it's not OEM. I had an 06 Bounder & didn't have one of those power supplies up there. Can you trace where the wires go?

If you Google "Pyramid Power Supply" you'll get hits that look just like what you have 2.5amp & up:

Unplug it and see if everything you use still works.

12v power source... Fed by 120 and puts out 12v

I have one in the garage I use as a 12v power source to power and check 12v products..

Dont know why it would be in the cabinet...

is there a 110/120v plug in there? maybe the PO used it to power some 12v appliances?

I traced the wires. From the power supply the 12v wires go into the round hole on the back right and then are connected to the switch directly in front of it which is labeled winguard minimax. It must be supplying 12v to the satellight antennae.

Looks like a rectifier Ac to Dc, whatever was back there needing DC power off the 120v Ac

What is this for?

Got a 07 Bounder. Didn’t have anything like that when new. Satellite was hard wired. I put a new upgraded satellite on 2yrs ago and now have a similar box. It’s just to power mine.
