Good question.

Yes we bought the coach used last month, Aug. The problem is the dealer was selling it as a 2007 coach when in reality it is a 2006. I don't believe anyone was intentionally deceiving (maybe the salesman). The complication was in the VIN #. It is titled as a 2007. That 10th digit in the VIN indicating the year is a 7. It appears the chassis is a 2007 but the coach built on it is definitely a 2006. I have a letter from Fleetwood stating as such.
So we the customers were misrepresented. This is our first MH so were not up to speed on everything we should look for. Also the owners manual and all associated documentation was not provided to us until after we took delivery. That part does seem a little suspicious. Why withhold all the documentation until after delivery? Of course by then we had left the dealer and did not look at the owner's manual until the next day. That was when we raised a red flag with the dealer. It has taken about 6 wks to get this worked out. I believe the salesman was trying to put something over on us. He does not work directly for the dealer but is a contract person. We purchased the unit at the RV Rally in Lousiville, then had to travel 400 mi to the dealer a few wks later to pick it up.
