If the switch is in the off position, does the fuse blow? If yes, then there appears to be a short someplace between the fuse and the switch. If the answer is no, then there appears to be either a short or high current draw between the switch and the fans.

If you determine the short is between the switch and fan, remove the fan and turn the switch on. Still blow? There must be a wire shorting someplace. No blow? then the fan could be faulty.

Another question pops to mind. Is the fuse the correct one? Could the fuse have been replaced with a smaller amp fuse by mistake? A too small of a fuse would blow every time you would turn on the fan switch.

Do the fan blades rotate if you turn thm without power on the fans? If they don't, the fan bearings are frozen, and the fans probably need to be replced.

That is odd. As each fan has its own 2 speed switch. But they must be powered by the same fuse.

Does the fuse blow when switch is turned on to the slow speed or on up to the high speed? Just one fan turned on to the slow speed shouldn't blow a 15AMP fuse.

Check the fuse rating on the fan fuse. I seem to recall that the fan called for a 20 amp yellow fuse. These are 18 wheeler fans. They move a lot of air (and make a fair amount of noise.)

We also found water in the fans many times. If the marker lights or the roof to front cap leaks, the water will run into the motor. This fan is just like a funnel, It is wide at the base and narrow at the motor attachment. It will funnel the water right into the motor. Have you ever seen a few drops of water coming from the fans.?

On mine, I can control the psgr side fan with the switch in center console or DW can control with the switch on the psgr side. Try switching them with the different switches to see if continues to blow the fuse. You could have a chasis short in one of the switches or the a fan could be bad. Each of my fans are controlled by individual switches. Does each fan blow the fuse or just one when switched on?
I agree the fuse rating seams light for these fans, check your manual for correct amperage.

I think the fans are just cheap, they are probably froze up.
