2007 bounder tilt wheel blows turn signal fuse

When you move tilt wheel fuse blows that runs turn signals and several other things including signal to levelers that brake is set anyone else have this happen? its a workhorse chassis who works on them in northern CA? any help would be appreciated

It's a workhorse chassis, take it to Chevy/GMC. The turn signal switch is above the tilt, so its wires run down through the tilt. They are supposed to be held in place, but must have gotten loose and pinched, causing them to ground (short) and blow the fuse. If the wheel has no airbag in it, you might want to try it yourself. Otherwise, take that beauty in.
