2007 discovery rear rock guard ?

I would like to purchase a "Discovery" rear rock guard for my 2007 40x. I was told by Fleetwood that they didn't offer one in 2007 and the 2008 might fit but they are not sure. They want way to much money for that one anyhow,almost $600! I love the looks of the Chrome Discovery model rock guard but that's crazy money.....any alternatives ? Ultra Guard is ok I guess.

Find a place that sell's rubber stock. Buy the conveyer type, then go to a sheet metal shop and have them cut a peice of stainless steel with a lazer. You may have to make up your own template for the stainless.

The rock guards are pretty much standard sizes anyway - it's just the mounting brackets that differ from one to another. The standard sizes are 96 x 16" and 96 x 20". Ultraguard offers a 94 x 16" model too.

I would order one for the later model and assume I could adapt the mounts. The one on my 2004 American Coach is just slung from chains anyway, and it has an adjustable link. I've already adjusted mine to run a bit higher off the pavement than the factory set up.
