2007 fleetwood le 40l (slide issue)
Hopefully an easy fix!🤞
Main living room slide on drivers side.
Goes out no problem but when ready to bring in i need to push on outside of slide just a little before it will start to go back in?

Sounds like weak batteries.
Crank engine per manufacturer, hold down aux start button while someone else tries slide.

On my rev, if I crank the engine, the airbags will inflate, with the RV high enough to raise it off the jacks. Not the place it is supposed to be to bring in a slide. Better would be to start the generator if there was no electricity available.

It should not inflate bags unless you retract jacks.

Not a battery issue. They r brand new. All other slides r fine. It seems like it could be in just a little bit of a bind or uneven

Have you checked for any FOD (foreign object debris)? There could be something in the gear teeth or something that may have rolled off your floor, stopping forward movement. Next option would be to re-program your stops.

I know you said your batteries are new but if they are not charge fully they could still be the problem.
My manual on power gear slides need approx 13.6 volts that’s why they request engine be running.
What’s is your voltage when bringing in slide?
Just because other maybe littler slides come in larger slides need more juice.

Like others have suggested, the slides should be operated with the motor running.
In any case, I too have an occasional problem only with my living room slide on my 05 39L. When it persists, I am forced to disconnect the controller harness from it's relay board (found in a rear/drivers side compartment with all the other electrical) and reconnect. Generally, when this happens, my wife is pushing the closed switch in the coach.
I had sourced a replacement relay board, as it is not the same as the three other boards, and had the same issue, so not the board. I now think it is a poor connection on the harness side of the relay.
All this to say, is that is might be a similar connection issue at the board. For me the problem has been non-existent for the last 3 trips, but I'm sure it will rear it's head again.

As noted before, use high idle especially on the FWS.

I would get the coach on a level area, on the air bags, engine running on high idle and cycle the slide. See if it operates properly then.
I never operate the slides on the jacks, only on the air bags, then dump the air, then level with jacks if needed. You never know how much a jack may have leaked down and tweaked the frame. If you insist on operating the slides on the jacks, after you've been parked a while and get ready to retract the slides, re-level the coach before retracting the slides so you know you're back to the same position as when you extended the slides.
The manufactures statement of operating the slides while on the jacks assumes that they have not developed any leak down while parked.

It’s from my experience a full wall slide will make a you motorhome lean without jacks down. I have never ever been in a perfectly level spot.
