2008 discovery 40x loses power while driving

I have a 08 discovery on a frieghtliner chassis Cummins pusher. A few times now while driving, I lose power to the dash, shutting engine off. Brake controller won’t light up, nothing that requires ignition power will not work. After a moment power comes back on. This has happened also while parked when I try to retract my sunshades, because they require accessory power on to work. This last time I was passing a semi on I70 and lost all power. Coasted while the semi passed me back and I was able to coast to the edge. I70 doesn’t have much shoulder space so it was scary. I’m afraid to take it on another trip. After power regained I was able to drive from Salina Kansas all the back to Vegas with out issue. But since this is a reoccurring issue, I need to dig into it before I feel confident to take another trip. Any help guidance. Things I’ve checked: batteries good, fuses good, relays in the fuse box should be good (I player swap the relay and no issues followed to the new position)

Both house and chassis batteries good?
Check ground from engine to frame.
Alternator output?

Sounds like an overheating relay. That would be me starting point.

I would go straight to battery connections, reason being, mine did the same thing and it was loose connections. Don't feel the connections by hand, get a socket and a ratchet and put it on each one and tighten them down.

I had this exact issue on my 2008 Fleetwood when it was new. It took a while to diagnose. The issue was a harness connector mid coach running along frame rails.

This harness is from the ecm located in the engine area, going to another ecu in the front of coach.

Once repaired the problem never came back. The connectors would be my first recommendation to check.

Things I found

I started with batteries. Connections seemed right, so I removed them both. I tested them and one was barely good and the other was bad. I replaced both batteries. I continued and checked grounds. Engine ground is good. Did find any grounds that looked corroded or loose. RV started fine again. I hope that this was the fix. Thank you all for the replies. Hope this fixes it.
