Having had a Discovery before, I would say the Dutch Star is a step up. We seriously looked at the DS but ended up with an Entegra due to floorplan.

X2 on Spartan over Freightliner. Not just the quality and ride, but also getting it serviced. I had issues with Freightliner "truck" service centers.

The one thing that is great about the Discovery is the DOAI owners association. If you go with the Discovery do yourself a favor and join DOAI. Even if you only use their online resources.

It was great from support and information standpoint, plus the people aren't bad either.

Freightliner and Spartan are virtually the same if you get one of Flnr chassis that is on the higher end coaches. Side radiator is an upgrade, but would not be a deal breaker for me.
