2008 Fleetwood Bounder 35H Ford Chassis

We are real close to purchasing an 08 Bounder 35H w/Ford , just wondering what people are using for tow vehicles , We have a 08 Acadia (4700lbs) and would like to avoid purchasing a different vehicle. We welcome any comments.

Thanks Rickj

I don't tow anything but that's within the hitch specifications. I can tell you though that I can't imagine towing something that heavy. I have the Banks system on mine and I would recommend it for you as well.

Refer to the answers you got from the same post a couple days ago Rick. Like everyone has said, "you're at the limit". If you're looking for someone to tell you "no problem", I don't think thats going to happen.

Safe travels...and remember, not only do have to pull it, you have to stop it. Gary pulls his behind a big ole diesel pusher not a V-10 Ford.

Been towing a 4500# Ford Explorer for years. Been across the Big Horns and they are probably as bad as any. Only problem I had was that the speed was a little slow. BTW, everything on my Brave is stock and my tow bar and hitch is rated at 5000#.

Towing

Originally towed an 08 Jeep Sahara and have taken itto Florida and Estes Park, Colorado and was actually very happy with how it ran in the mountains. I have since sold the Jeep and have just set up my wifes 09 Enclave. this vehicle is about 700# heavier but I still think I am going to be happy. Have only taken for test runs but so far hills don't seem to be much of challenge.
Will let you know more later.
