2008 Fleetwood Revolution 42K

We are looking at this coach for sale and wish to ask if there is anything specific we should ask the buyer or test? It has 16K miles and looks great (cosmetic wise).

Tires are still original and was thinking of changing the front 2 right now before delivery.

Thanks

If original, the tires are probably date coded 2007
I think I would consider all new rubber
they are now eight years old and depending on how long they sat in the same spot as well as if they were in the sun they are about at the end of there life
That is a heavy unit 40 + footer

Is that a 43 foot long with tag axle with bath and half ?
I have a 2006 revolution 40E le (bath and half) and love it
Mine is 400 cat think 2008 is 400 cummins, plenty of power, runs right up the hills no problem.
I think the revolutions are well built units and I would buy the same thing if I was looking, and I did a lot of looking for about a year at a lot of different coaches before I bought mine. For me the floor plan was just what I wanted.

I have a 2008 LE 40'. I love her. I got 52k miles on her now. No serious problems. Clear coat peal on front cap and spots on side. Thermostat doesn't read correct for front zone learned to live with it.
I think if it was me I would change all tires. I changed the serpentine belt and other small belt, as it had a small rock hole in it.
Overall been a good coach.
My biggest repair bill was having the gen set dropped.
I did put in a residential fridge.
I think it handles great and has plenty of power.

How do you repair the clear coat from peeling? I see this coach has the same issue on the back side.

What is the one thing you don't like about your coach? I like the split bathroom and built in desk, king bed, among all the other tag axle benefits.

remember tires are only good for 7 years. It does not matter how good that they look.
I had to replace all 6 on my first DP two months after getting it.
FMC has a great deal with Michelin. If you can get the owner to replace before the sale that is best.
Always have the front end aligned at a qualified shop. Do this no mater what the owner or the tire wear looks like
My first DP I had it done because a friend suggested it. It ran good before I did it and great after I did it.

Like someone else said. Sand and repaint. I found a two part clear coat from an auto body shop. Took their advice on prep and used it. It is a rattle can type, but it is a 2 part. (You use the lid of the can put it on the bottom of the can to activate it with a sharp blow.)
Only time will tell. If I had spray equipment I might have done that.

I hated the norcold refrigerator so I put a residential in, mine worked great was just to small for us (we prepare a lot of meals) I think one main thing I don't care about is the gen set not being on a slide.
I don't have tag axel on mine.
I love the bath and half!
Even without the tag I am impressed by the way it handles.
One thing I love about her she's all mine! No payment!
