Main tank drain
Anybody know where main water tank drain is in a 2008 revolution? I just bought one and can't find it. Also there is a cover over the water pump with screws in it that looks like Torx but are not Torx. Does anyone know what fits them? Thanks Gator

The fresh water drain is often at the lowest part of the plumbing, not right under the tank. Check all compartments that have plumbing in them, or look under the RV for a 'duck-bill' rubber cover on a drain coming through a compartment. The valve should be right above that spot.

As far as the screws go try a square drive bit. I had screws that looked like Torx but none of them fit. I called Thor and they told me they use square head bits. I did and they fit.

2008 Revolution LE owners or anything close
For you Revolution owners. 1. I'm looking for the main water tank drain? 2. I have a spotlight on top of my coach and have no idea how to turn on or control? 3. Coach has 4 house 12 v AGM batteries that are shot. Should I replace with AGM? If so, the best deal I found is Sam's club. Any info you could provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Gator in Reno, NV

The water drain most likely is in your sewer bay. Look under the bay for exit tubes and trace up. You can always drain with your pump. Spot generally is operated by a remote. My 03 was. AGM are certainly maintenance free. I use lead acid “cheaper” and if maintained IMO last a bit longer.

Thanks Clay, I know where the low point drains are. I just assumed it had a large 1 1/2 drain like my last coach. I guess if I climb under it and don't see a large drain pipe? It doesn't have one. Coach came with about 8 remotes, maybe one controls the spotlight? I'm hesitant to put Liquid batt's in because the Battery compartment is sealed.
Thanks for Info,

I have a 2016 revolution, there is no water tank drain, to drain the tank open the low point drains and start the water pump and pump the water out of the tank.

Gator, I have a 2008 revolution LE. in the sewer bay in left lower corner there are two red handles. One is hot water drain and other is cold water drain. Both of those have to be moved to open position and then the blue handle (water tank bypass drain) needs to be put in the open position. Water will drain out of the two tubes right below the compartment. Torx screws were a problem to. I got a square head to work. You should have a diagram sticker just above the red handles with the steps to drain and fill. If not let me know and I will learn how to attach photo and send to you. Hope this helps.

LSPTPR, Thanks for the info on the drain. Do you happen to have the spot light on top? If so, Where is the control for it?
Thanks Gator

I was told that those odd screws were "triple square". I ordered a full set of them and none fit. I tried everything but a square bit. I cut a slot in the head and removed with a screwdriver, then replaced them with hex heads.

It’s a small remote control.

A 'triple square' screw or bolt is shaped like a 12 point 'star' so a square bit of the proper size would work but aren't as good as a true 'triple square' bit or screwdriver. A torx screw is a 6 pointed star. They are used in many applications because they can be inserted and removed with more force than a Phillips headed screw. Harbor Freight makes a pretty handy kit of 100 different bits used in today's manufactured items. It's helped me out many times over the years. Always makes work easier when you have the proper tool.

Yes, I do. Forgot about that. I don't have any switch that I know of. Mine works with a remote control. It is rectangular with on/off button and 4 arrow buttons in a diamond shape.
