2009 Bounder 35 E black tank gauge problem

I have had a continuous problem since I bought my rig brand new. The black tank gauges worked once in a while, but usually show 1/3 or 2/3 full. I have replaced them a couple of times, but the same thing happens. They are external gauges, so they are not fowled by debris. I think the problem could be a slight build up on the wall of the tank. The gauges are located on the back of the tank on the driver's side. There is a spray cleaner mounted on the tank. It sprays very well into the tank you can readily hear it. I think what is happening is it is spraying against the opposite wall of the tank and may also be hitting the back of the tank, but on the passenger side, not the drivers side where the gauge buttons are installed. My tank runs clear when I clean it. Completely clear. I just wonder since it doesn't seem to be spaying in the location where the gauges are mounted, this might be the problem. Anyone else experience this problem, or find a solution for the gauges working better? Thanks.

I had an 08 35E. I frequently poured a five gallon pail of water with a half a cup of dawn mixed in down the toilet to an empty clean tank before switching locations. A few hours of driving sloshed it all around the tank. My gauges always worked.

Do a search for Tornado Tank Rinser on Amazon or other sources. It's a rotary washout that spins and sprays pretty much everywhere. I installed on in our '06 Itasca's gray tank when I had a problem with the gauges and it kept things pretty clean. Here's a video comparing the different types of tank flush systems.
