2009 Expedition Control Cabinet Access

I have a 2009 Fleetwood Expedition and wanted to gain access to the control panel access cabinet above the entrance door. Eventually I want to install a solar monitor (not controller) and a few other control devices.

Has anyone run wires up to that location? If so how? Can they go up the windshield pillar cover?

Thanks in advance.

I would think you could go up one side of the windshield.
I'm going to do the same thing on my 07 Discovery
