2011 Fleetwood Discovery 36J Booth to Bed Conversion

Hello All,

New to this forum and needing some help. Just purchased a 2011 Fleetwood Discovery 36J. We thought it had enough sleeping area for our three kids but realized the table does not convert into a bed. The table/booth cushions are permanently attached to the bottom and backs. It is definitely not just velcro on there. The table is permanently attached to the wall. Now we are trying to get ideas on how we can turn this into a bed without ruining the cushions and eating area. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sorry your first post is about a problem .
Yours is the first time I've heard or seen of a dinette booth not being convertible into a bed , and I've been in a lot of RVs over the years.

I believe the first thing to do would be to take some pictures of the table mount to the wall and post them , that would give others a chance to see what you're up against .

Hello, I have your same rig and we were just talking about converting the table somehow. I came across this post did you ever find away to convert it?

No we have not figured anything out with it yet. In the meantime we bought a fold away cot for our youngest to sleep on and put that in front of the table. Then we just put that away during the day. Looking at maybe getting a telescoping stand so that we can lower the table to the top of the cushions. Then we have found the cushions from the couch seats would fit nicely on top of the table and bench cushions for someone to sleep on top of those. One of those projects where we just haven't gotten the extra time to dive into it. I will try to get some pics of our set up so that maybe someone else can weigh in.
