2011 Jamboree shower lock

i have been unable to open the outside shower door. Key number matches the lock number but it simply will not go in. I’ve tried silicon, wd40, swearing and finally praying but it still won’t open. I really don’t want to go gorilla on it but I’m close. Any ideas.

The shower hose may be preventing the lock from moving. If your shower door is flexible plastic like most, maybe you can lift a corner enough to get something in there to poke the hose out of the way.
