I believe my 35K has a 34000 btu Furnace........Does anyone know if a 40000 btu would make a difference? I have noticed that 40000 btu's are used in the 42' Bounders with rear bathrooms like the 35K....Has anyone asked Fleetwood ? While I find my heating adequate (not perfect), I'm just curious. I also believe the two furnaces are the same physical specs and could be interchanged.
Any thoughts??????

IMHO - for what these things cost they should work alot better. I would expect heat out of every heat vent.

Ugh...

We have a 2005 35e. This is not a new design flaw! We couldn't believe how cold it got in the back bathroom. We dry camp a lot so a space heater wasn't an option for the most part. Tearing it apart we discovered what you already know, an itty bitty uninsulated flex tube tight and twisting its way to the back resulting in very little air flow and no remaining heat by the time it got there! Oh well, it's a really nice MH in many other ways so we live with it...

I pulled the bottom drawer out of my vanity and rerouted the duct hose. Vast improvement.

One of the staff at Fleetwood has the same rv as I do (2012 35K) and he has the same problem. They are using his coach as a guinea pig to find a fix. They have tried a few things (rerouting, a fan, I think with no help)
The last he told me they are going to try a second furnace mounted underneath the linen closet in rear bathroom. I don't know if they have done it yet. Haven't heard back. Still waiting for an answer.
Using a space heater right now, but it will be nice if they can get it working right.
And I agree, for the the amount these things cost every vent should work.

Tried a $15 portable electric heater from WW & it works wonders!
