2012 Fleetwood Storm 32V
I am looking to downsize to a dependable new RV. The Storm has the floor plan and amenities that I need. Can anyone offer their experience with this coach...good or bad. I'm looking to trade my 2004 Allegro, and have no experience with the Fleetwood products.

Hi Paula,
Have you considered a Fleetwood Bounder?
If Storm is a price consideration, then you can't go wrong with it.
The Bounder has a vast following of support groups, social groups and is fully equipped to go anywhere any expensive RV can go.
Bounder is a little more expensive than the Storm, due to the features Fleetwood includes as standard equipment.

Storm is a very nice entry level Fleetwood coach. I've seen them upclose and very well made it seems, nice amenities on the inside. Wouldn't hesitate to downsize to that one.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I had a few concerns since my salesman couldn't answer a lot of my questions. This will be my 3rd RV, so I do have experience with RVs. I travel alone, and am not getting any younger. It's time for something smaller than the 35 footer I am driving now. Think I will keep the Storm on my list and keep looking for a while.

From past experiences with Fleetwood products, I find that the quality control can be somewhat variable. One RV will be put together with reasonable QC and the next one looks like a bunch drunk monkeys built it.
So be very picky when inspecting the unit.

Ken,
Seems like the same guys work for all of the manufacturers.
Quality control is controlled by the quality of the controllers.

We have a Storm and like the layout a lot. We have some problems but this is my 5th RV and all seem to have some some problems. It has lots of power and pulls our Jeep Liberty with no problems. I think it a great RV if you don't want to go over 28".

I have a 2003 Storm and it is a great, solid coach. I have looked at the 2012 Storms and for some reason they just don't look like they are built like they used to be, nothing factual to base that on, just my opinion.
I agree with the others here, but a year or two old Bounder, much better choice than the Storm being brand new....same money and lots more coach.
Completely useless donation to this thread.......I know....

Hello again Progers,
To sum up this thread; You may have made a decision by now so I believe that we would like to know your purchase choice and how it turned out for you.
Please let us know and know that we all have varied opinions and only want to guide you to a safe and somewhat educated purchase.

After much consideration, I am awaiting delivery of my 2013 Jayco Greyhawk FS. Besides a 2 year warranty from Jayco, the other big deciding factor was the bunk beds. I show dogs and travel with 6 to the shows and camping. The bunk house gives the dogs their own room! It will also be nice when my kids and all the grand kids want to use it. It looks to be a very sturdy, well thought out coach. Hope to send along great reviews after I take delivery in a couple of weeks.

Paula,
good luck with your new coach. Be picky while it's still under factory warrantee.
