2012 southwind water heater

Silly question, getting ready to go, how do I light the hot water heater? Book says I have a whitemrodgers or Robert shaw, everything point to an on/off switch, but can't find one.

Thanks

First, make sure water heater is full of water by turning on hot tap and verifying water flow, not air. The switch is usually located on the panel that shows tank levels. If not there, then it should be near kitchen, bathroom sinks or shower.
