Like I originally said, if you turn that switch off, your batts I'll eventually go dead as the inverter/charger is now effectively removed from the system.

I spent last weekend at the drags in Epping and everything worked just as you said. I monitored the voltage, all good (no 3am awning retraction!). Thanks again everyone.
