2014 40G U dinette table

I have a 2014 40G with a U shaped dinette table. The unit will swivel and lower to create a "bed"..

The latch/ locking mechanism is no longer holding the table in the UP position.

Has anyone had this issue before? What was your solution?

I called Fleetwood yesterday and was told the wait time was 1-2.5 hours so I hung up.

I have the entire assembly out of the coach and on my table. Seems like everything is under tremendous pressure so I am hesitant to mess it until I am sure I have a diagram or technical data sheet on how to proceed or a part number to just replace.

Leaving on a long trip very soon and need to fix ASAP.

Yeah, we just removed the table and the U shaped dinette, and replaced with a credenza, free standing table and regular dining chairs. We actually gained storage space with the credenza vs the under the seat drawers, and now we can seat 4 adults comfortably for dinner.

Do you still have the table base?

No, we left it with the folks that put in our new furniture.

Has anyone else removed this table that might still have the lift mechanism?

I've had great success with filling out the rev parts contact form, and they will email you the part # and/or schematic so that you can pick out the part you need. They seem to have most of the parts I have ever needed for my 11' 40G

I am a member of the DOIA but I hate the relay chat. It is so poor that I no longer even try to use it. The IRC format is old and confusing. I wish they would use an engine like this one.

I have also found that most DOIA members are also in here.
