2014 Bounder 36H

Hi all,
We are considering an upgrade to our current rig and found a very nice 2014 Bounder 36H. It seems to run great, drives great, and we have tested as many components as we could. The large slide seems to struggle a bit when pulling in.

Are there any major gotcha's or important things to look at on this particular model? Any major recalls or mechanical issues?

Any advice is appreciated!

Access to the Vacuflush pump would be my first concern. Some have had success getting to them using different methods, none which I would want to do. It wasn't till 2016 that Fleetwood moved the pump to over the propane tank and access and repair isn't fun it isn't too difficult.

Depending on the use that it has had it is likely due for a rebuild, less than $200 for parts. Search for Vacuflush repair and your eyes will be opened. And they will really be opened if you have a dealer do the job.

I will look into that. I watched a couple of Youtube videos and it looks like kind of a nasty job. Probably even more difficult if the pump is in some strange place. There is a lot to learn on this coach! Many more features than our 2008 Sunova.

We did a walk through of the new to us Bounder Classic, but it doesn't appear to have any original manuals. I downloaded the owner's manual from Fleetwood's website, but it is pretty generic. It makes several references to "Your Owner’s Information
Package" but I can't find that. Does anyone know where to obtain that?

I have some simple questions like the water heater. In my Itasca there were separate switches for gas vs. electric. If on electric, a big red light would illuminate. On the Bounder there is a switch but I'm told the red light only comes on if there is a problem. Is there a way to run the water heater gas only if we don't want to use electric, even if we are hooked up?

The power control panel shows a lot of info, including an "inverter" that says "normal", but I can't find the inverter or know how to work it, if in fact there is one.

The fridge is a newer style with digital display on the front and buttons in the freezer to turn it on and set the temp. It always read "60" but we only had it on a couple of hours. It felt cold in the freezer. I think I have that part figured out!

Anyway, thanks for any help!
