Question 2014 Discovery 40X level problem

we just purchased a new 2014 Discovery 40X and there are no directions on how to use the leveling system for the jacks. I haven't been able to find anything on the Internet either. Does anyone know of a resource for the level system?

Not sure which system you have but if it is the Power Gear, here is the location for the operators manual. If you Google, "Power Gear Owners Manual", it should take you to this site.

Additional Question

We do have the Power Gear level system and the link to the manual was a great help.

A question we also have is related to the dumping of air in order to level. There is a lever to the left of the steering column which is labeled "manual air dump switch". It is labeled manual to the left side and automatic to the right side. What is the proper use of this switch? Should it be on auto all the time?

Switch to the left dumps the air from the airbags and drops the height of the coach for parking. To the right inflates the airbags and keeps/auto adjusts them to road driving height. Most people drop the coach, then level, then slides out. So yes, on "auto" when you are driving.

Aren't new coaches just grand! We've all been there, done that and usually blame it on the cat or the dog.

That's the order ours is in. Motor running, dump air, level, slides out.

Make sure your front wheels are straight before dumping air.
