2014 Fleetwood Bounder 36E

We found what we believe to be our ideal motor home.. The Fleetwood 36E has the floor plan that we fell in-love with... So we are getting ready to pull the trigger and purchase one.

We searched around and found a few dealers in the Florida area that have this year/model in stock with some fairly good discounts to clear out their inventory.

Before we jump in (this is our first class a motor home) I wanted to get other 36E owners feedback. If you are an owner of a Fleetwood Bounder 36E please give us your opinions and experience you've had with this motor home.

Looking forward to some good discussions and insights.

Take a very good flashlight and have a checklist. I can't find it, but, someone posted a very extensive list of things to look for on this forum. There may be obvious problems. Try to get issues sorted before you buy.

But, ask about ....
Recalls
Age of tires
Engine ECM update
Things like this.

I have found that once you sign on the dotted line it sometimes an ordeal to get things sorted out.

I believe the OP is purchasing a new Bounder. Hopefully another FW owner with your model will chime in I know there are many Bounder owners that monitor this owners forum. You'll get good service from FW. How are the reviews on your choice of dealer?? They really make the purchase rough or a pleasant experience!

We bought a 2014 36E in August and we have been very pleased with it so far. Not many issues, just some minor items loose or needing adjustment. Our dealer took care of those quickly. The floor plan has worked really well for us, we take guests with us often so having the extra bathroom has worked out well.
The only thing I want to add is some extra house battery capacity besides the two that it came with. I plan on adding solar for boondocking and the extra batteries will keep us going a bit longer.
