2014 Jamboree Sport 31d - fuel pump module/fuel lines

Is it pretty common for Fleetwood to relocate the fuel pump module outside the frame rails? After speaking with someone who knows Ford chassis the answer I got was "that's not where Ford puts it"

Here is my issue: new 2014 Jamboree Sport 31d on Ford V10 w/ 4k miles. Rock or ice chunk hits off the road and up into my fuel pump module. Which on my RV looks to be relocated off the frame and put in the center of the RV's chassis. Fuel Pump Module goes out. Mid-Duty Truck dealer says Ford won't fix under warranty because it's placed in the frame rail by Ford. Dealer where I bought the RV says call Fleetwood. Fleetwood has not returned my call(s).

The hard fuel lines on this 32ft coach have also not been re-attched to the frame, according to the Mid-Duty Ford Dealer. They said the fuel lines are attached in ONLY ONE location along the entire frame rail.

Any advice? Thanks.

Build a shield, attach yourself, or just keep playing the run around game.
