I have a 2015 Bounder 35K, and the 2 front side windows are smoked up. Any body have any answers as to how to fix or does anyone know a good place in the Houston area to get them fixed?

Also, I have been having an issue with the gas side of my water heater. It seems to work for awhile then the red light will come on and doesn't seen to have hot water. the electric side works fine. Its my understanding when the red light comes on there is an issue?

There was a kit you could buy online that contained a new spacer and the sealant to do it yourself. You separated the pains, cleaned them good and installed the new spacer. Then you sealed around the pane and were done.
I had a couple of customers who did it and had good results.
The only difficult part was removing the window. That is not really that difficult.
There is a place just above Tampa fla. and another in Arkansas if you are going to be in either place.
I just looked online and it looks like coach specialists near Dallas, Texas works on fogged windows.

I was a glass guy for 20 years, did a bunch of glass work on 4 seasons atriums.

The glass is done, it has been etched by sunlight striking the moisture inside the panes. Like the previous post there are companies that will do this replacement "glass" like a drive through, it's all they do.

The biggest one is in Florida, just can't remember their name.

You may be able to ship just the sashes to them, leave the frame installed for replacement sashes. But if your going to Florida much easier to just drive up, and wait on the install like waiting at a tire store.

They are that fast.

Had a friend here last year that needed every piece of glass in the rig replaced on a Fleetwood Discovery 40 ft Class A, and they quoted him it would take 3 hours.

And he was a seasoned contractor, saying not worth his time for all that work.

it's all they do all day long, every day.

Not always the case. I had all of the windows "de-fogged" in our 2006 Discovery, and non of them were etched. The Fog Doctor was able to just clean and seal them and they looked brand new.

I used Suncoast Designers in FL. They did super job and I thought the price was very reasonable.

You might ask your local RV repair shop for who in the area replaces RV windows. I had mine replaced with dual pane laminated glass (like a windshield) by the local guy. They won't ever fog again. Not quite as much insulation, but with the small air gap on the RV windows, there isn't much anyway.

We had the same issue with our 2017 Bounder 35K if you have Saftey glass in those windows contact Rev.

If you clearly have two separate pieces of glass follow the rest of the suggestions people have provided.

Rev replaced both side windows free of charge. What is happening, is the Laminate is separating from the two pieces of glass it is attached to. I also submitted a complaint to NTSB, at https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#index

Thank you all for your replies. I will ask the local shop I use and see what they have to say. Otherwise it sounds like I will need to take a little side trip in the spring.

The guy I bought this motorhome from had and additional extended warranty on it. Which I paid to have transfered into my name. Is this something that it would cover or am I on my own on this deal.

Other than the windows looking bad, they are sometimes difficult to see out of as well.

I have a 2015 Fleetwood excursion with large sliding driver and passenger windows.
The windows have been getting worse for several years but when I came home from Florida beginning of December they got so bad that in some sunlight I couldn't see my side mirrors.
I watched a couple of videos on how to and jumped in last week. Did the driver side and reinstalled now working on passenger side.
Few notes.
Tape inside frame to wall.

Remove all inside screws and with helper on outside push out.

Tape up opening and take window to work area.

My window was in a frame that had 8 screws holding it together. Remove same.

Frame would not separate enough to remove window. Drill head off 2 1/8" rivits on center brace and with a helper you can get window out.

I chose not to repair rear sliding window because I was afraid I would break it getting metal piece off.

Front window I cut apart with utility knife then clean gasket off windows with razor blade.

I use butyl rubber tape. Couldn't find any thick enough so I just took 3/4 wide and folded in half to get about 1/4" gap. I moved the tape in from the edge about a 1/4" and after cleaning multiple times had helper put 2 pieces back together. If they are off slightly you can put glass on edge and push to even out.

I then took black urethane caulk and filled in the 1/4" gap to seal window.

Put frame back together and rivit. Install in coach.

I used a small amount of clear silicone sealant on edge of frame after installing.

Off to warmer weather January 5th so we will see!

There is a supplier in Bend Oregon who has replacement windows for all makes . They supply solid pane replacements and will ship anywhere.These are safety glass and are guaranteed for life. I believe there name is RV solutions I Bend Oegon.

I assembled my own kits using the same materials available from Amazon, and have done over a dozen windows between two rigs. First rig the failure was moisture between the panes from a seal failure. On the second - current rig - there's a smokey film due to some kind of off-gassing from the rubber spacer or sealer material. No seal failure and no moisture.

2 windows from my first rig were "etched". I put quotes around the word etched because it isn't true etching. Etching is the removal of some of the glass leaving a rough surface. What is really happening is moisture is cycling in and out of the desiccant which condenses and then evaporates from the inner glass surface. Each cycle leaves a tiny bit of the desiccant mineral on the glass surface. Over time this builds an increasingly thickening, sun baked mineral layer, which looks like etching and is pretty well bonded to the glass. This deposit CAN be removed by either polishing compound or by chemical removal. The problem is, the labor involved can be considerable so a replacement pane is a better option, especially when figuring in labor rates at average shop rates.
