2015 American Coach Revolution

Recently purchased a 2015 Revolution. I plan to tow an enclosed trailer and can't find anything on a brake controller. I assume one is needed and there is a plug n play option somewhere, just can't find any info.

If you can help I would appreciate an e-mail

moesterman@aol.com

Thanks, Al

Does your Revolution come with a trailer plug installed? I use the prodigy 2 and love it

Thanks to all for your reply. I do understand that I need a controller and the Revolution is equipped with a 7-pin trailer plug. To help clarify my question I am looking for assistance with installing the controller. Is there a plug and play connection "somewhere" or do I need to tap into the wiring. Most vehicles currently that are optioned with a tow pkg have a plug under the dash all ready for an optional controller or a controller already one built in. So simply, I am looking for assistance for installing a controller. Thanks again, Al

You might call American Coach Customer Service and ask - they are very friendly and helpful folks. I suspect Feightliner Custom Chassis could tell you too, since the 2015's use Freightliner front & rear assemblies in the AC Liberty chassis.

Last, I suggest you join the American Coach Owners Yahoo Group and share in the experiences of other owners. Great group for helping each other.

The freightliner chassis is prewired for trailer brakes. You should have the wires under the dash somewhere. I have a 14 rev and did verify this. Unfortunately i have not looked for them yet..

I agree with the advice to call American Coach. Nice folks and they can probably tell you what to look for and where.

Congrats on the purchase of a great coach. When you get a chance you'll have to post photos.

If the AC techs can't help you, call the manufacturer of the controller.
