Underneath the coach should be a latch

Bottom centre front of the slide out there will be a red latch, pull down and pull the slide out to access the generator, it is easier with one person on each side to move it.

One other thing to note - on our '17, the latch has a thumb button on the driver's side which must be pressed in order to release it. I'm not sure if other years are the same, but I struggled with it for a bit before figuring it out. Hoping to save you the same frustration.

Same on the 14, so the 15 is likely also the same.

Sure wish our 08 Discovery had a slide out genset. I've heard it's a 1400 dollar job to replace the 15 dollar fan belt!

When you say a "thumb button on the drivers side" is this on the front exterior of the gen slideout? Thx, Jeff

On the latch itself. You won't be able to release the latch without pushing the button in.

Yes, but are ya sure that it wouldn't have to be dropped anyway?
I have a small issue, that will take a lot of work in correcting it and one that I will eventually get to, so I wish had a slideout as well.
Now, having said that, I've looked at many that would have to be removed for my job, anyway. There just was not enough clearance above the top cover and it's not like they slide completely out, in most cases.
