2015 Fleetwood Bounder 35k
Just bought this rig and trying to figure everything out. #1 problem. No hot water. Controller says water heater is on. Checked to see if propane is the issue but was able to light burner on stove.
Problem #2. Can not turn off ceiling lights. I've tried every switch that I could find but no luck. Are they supposed to stay on all the time. That doesn't make sense to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you have water in the water heater before turning it on. Do this by opening the hot side of a faucet and verifying that there is water flowing from water heater. (no air)
The water heater has a propane switch and an electric switch. Test each individually.
- Plug coach in and go look at the load on your electrical panel source & load display (probably behind the bedroom TV). Turn on only the electric water heater switch and verify load has increased about 10-15 amps or so.
- Propane operation is easier to verify as you can hear the gas portion of the water heater working.
Does the 2015 model Bounder have the Multiplex system? If so then hit the "All lights" button near the door step. (should be the bottom button) That will turn all lights off. You can play with the buttons from that point but they should be labeled.
If you do not have the Multiplex system then there are switches for the lights. Try more than one.

Make sure the water heater bypass valves are running water through the heater, in winterize mode they send water around the tank instead of into it.

The power control system in your photo is a little bit deceiving. When it says "On", it doesn't actually mean the device is operating. It simply means that the power is on (available) to the device so that it may operate when needed.

As far as the lights not turning off, it is possible that the wall switch has failed in the closed position.

Thanks for the fast reply. I can not find a propane or electric switch. Opened outside cover of water heater and did not see any switches.where might they be located and what do they look like ?
As far as the lights go I've found switches for all lights except the ceiling lights. Turned switches on and off no effect on ceiling lights. I'll call the dealer. There has to be a switch , finding it is the problem.

Your water heater switch might look something like this. It was mounted in this location ( circled in red )on my Bounder.

My water heater switches are located above my door in the control center area. I have a 2017 Bounder 33C... not sure about your 35K.

Thanks for the help.still can Not find the switches. It should not be this hard. Owners manual has next to nothing on the water heater and nothing about switch placement.

Found the switches in approximately the same place as your picture
It would be nice if the owners manual had a diagram of where the various switches are located.
Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

I have a 2012 35k and noticed that when Boondocking if I leave the electric water heater switch on and turn the generator off… the next time I start the generator the electric water heater does not always work. This does not always happen but sometimes does. I had to cycle the breaker to fix.
Now I remember to shut odd electric side of water heater when I shut off generator.

Check faucets in your wet bay
Make sure those faucets are off. The cold water will mix with the hot wster in your plumbing
