2015 Fleetwood Storm

We have A 2015 Fleetwood Storm 32V. When the house batteries are turned off the entry step doesnt work when the entry door is opened. Anyone know of a way to fix this? The dealer says it comes from the factory like that.

The dealer is correct. It needs 12v to operate. A small step stool would be helpful to enter the MH when the batteries are off.

On mine, if I want the steps up when the batts are off I have to turn off the batts before I open the door. They dont come down. When i return, open door, turn on batts, steps deploy. JD

You should be able to have the steps out and leave them out with or without power. I always have my steps out when parked and the power off. If you are parked you can open and close the door without the steps moving.
