I'll agree about the vendors. With it being the 65th anniversary, I expected more vendor support.

With it being in small town Decatur, I wondered from when they announced it last year where they'd put everyone. It was too bad we were so spread out, but at least the bus drivers did their best to get attendees to the venues. I'd say 2/3 of the people in our lot left Sunday since both the vendors & the display coaches were being packed up to leave.

It was poor planning on FW's part to have a rally & then not have enough slots for plant tours. Like HELLO?!?, we're at THE FACTORY homebase in a small town with few attractions - what'd they expect?

Most of the vendors were at the Glamorama in Goshen,In. This took place while theFMA was going on. Most of the vendors have a route they travel year in and year out, they don't deviate very much. One of the problems FMA has is attracting vendors at different parts of the United States instead of one dedicated location for a National Rally.

That was another head-scratcher. Why have one of the large regional's the same weekend as the FMA? I'm sure it caused many to have to choose rather than attending both.

Still well worth the time

This makes only the 2nd Rally in our short move into RVing.
My wife took the RV Driving course and it gave her the confidence
to try driving our coach for about 30 miles on our route home.
This is a good 1st step towards taking the PA Class B license as required.
The seminars were informative and I received service from Freightliner
on an issue with my Air Compressor that has bothered me since I had the
unit serviced in Gaffney.
Met some very nice people and enjoyed Friday night in town.
The people of Decatur were very friendly.
We will be back
