If you look at page 9-03 in your owners manual it shows how propane availability is affected by the air temperature. When it gets colder outside the available propane goes way down. If it lights when warmer but won't on a cold day this may be the problem. I've experienced what your describing myself. Also driving will stir up the propane letting it light after driving awhile.
