Improvements On My Coach
I hated when the drip edge water would fall on my mirrors. I installed a short gutter I bought from Camping World and ran it down to the bottom of the windshield. Wish I would have ran it to the bottom near the fender.
I also ran a 10' piece of gutter over the top of my windshield. Now my windshield stays clean when it rains not getting any water/debris from the front cap. Really like the improvement.

Improvements On My Coach
I got tired of unscrewing the cover in my storage to run the sewage hose on my knees through the cabinet to dump. So I decided to run a small section of hose in the cabinet and connect it to a clear section to monitor the clean out and extend it at the front of the cabinet to connect at the bottom of the front.
Also, I didn't like the hose in the bottom of my storage which is the same cabinet as my fresh water. I cut 2 holes big enough on the end of the cabinet to store my hoses individually in each section, one 10' section and the other 20' section. It works very well, and I like the new improvement.

Water Compartment Mods
My setup is as such: The water hose comes in and connects to a adjustable PSI regulator which is connected to a whole house water filter. From there it goes to a water softener then comes out with a Y water connection, one end goes to the RV city water connection and the other goes to the black tank washout. The black tank line has 2 ball valves and a one way flow valve so the fresh water line won't get contaminated from the black water line.
With this setup, I only have to connect the water hose ONE time to do all the water needs. When I am ready to break camp, I open 2 ball valves and add water to the black tank to add volume to insure a good clean out. With everything setup and connected in-house, you won't forget anything but to close the 2 ball valves, turn off the water and remove the water hose. Simple, effective and fast break down.
I also made a bracket on the right side of the compartment to hold 2 channel lock pliers that have orange handles if I need any pliers for any needs.

Really nice improvements
I don't think they are going to reach your intended audience in a thread relating to new owner experience with a 2016 Gas Bounder. Is it possible you meant to post this in the Fleetwood Mods thread??

I also have a 35K and I have had my water velve replaced once and need to have it replaced again. Very bad design. 3 valves in 8 months and it is not nice when traveling..

"misaligned port".....I just bought a 2012 Bounder 35K last year (Love it!!!). I solved for the misalignment by purchasing a Valterra D04-0202 Dominator 2' Compartment Hose on Amazon. I feed it in from the bottom compartment opening and attached it to the gray/ Blackwater discharge coupling that is tight against the inside compartment wall and slightly off center. Then I hooked up a clear sleeve and the rest of the sewer hose to the site sewer. It works great for me so I bought another for a back-up.

LOL, when I first got my coach, I ask the same question, thinking there was a problem . Yep, you and I are not the first ones to ask this question .

Sorry ajay I had to laugh a bit at that. Mine has been coming on just recently with the propane not starting right away, I also had a bad wire on my electric side the factory fixed so i have seen the lite a lot just recently. I think i got some bad propane at the flying j or maybe just some water back up in the burner tube, as it took a few try's to get the burner to lite. After about 3 tries on the igniter it will trip the fault lite on the heater panel and not try to start the propane until you turn it off and back on resetting the fault.

I don't have much new to report on my coach. We're in Austin Tx right now for the MotoGP race then off to Albequerque. One interesting thing is heading west seems to be a perpetual headwind for us. SO much of a headwind the coach has had to downshift a gear to maintain 65 mph a couple of times. That isn't helping the mileage much either. Really enjoying the coach. LOVE THAT FLOORPLAN

I was wondering how you knew that . The owners manual is useless when it comes to details like this
