2016 Discovery 40 E Diagnostic connector under dash?

Anyone know if there is a diagnostic connector underneath the dash that I can use for my Scangauge-D? And where it is?

Are you aware it will most likely be a 9-pin connection and not a 16-pin like our cars and pickups? I have just ran into this problem this week, since having a "check engine" light came on.

So far I have found adapters online for about $20.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks. Yes, it is quite different from automotive ones. The scangauge-d is designed for the Diesel engine/ transmission system diagnostic connector.

That’s the type of connection I am looking for. I am hoping there is another one under the dash to use to connect the Scangauge-D.

Up high, far back along left side of the steering column. Got a lay on floor to find it with flashlite. Its round and count pins so you use correct end.

That year model will use a 9 pin J1939 connector.
