Make sure you look at the weight capacities between the two , the pace arrows is much less. we purchased an expedition 38K in Jan., from LaMesa we thought they did a good job and took care of any issues we had with the coach . also pay attention to water lines as we had a couple minor leaks after our trip back home to Texas, so in other words test everything and I mean everything to catch any possible issues

The way the brochure reads on the pace arrow does leave one thinking that it is down on tow capacity. If you look at the actual weight of the coach, you will see there is plenty carrying capacity as well as tow capacity.

I like both of those coaches did some research on them when I first discovered the new Pace Arrow. I've been in the Pace and Explorer and like the Pace better with the exception of the Allison 2500 vs 3000 xmsn. That being said Fleetwood has another similar DP in the new Excursion 36K. Here's the link to the page for your consideration. I especially like the availability of an overhead bunk on the Excursion (Grandkids).

Also here is a link to a prior discussion of the 2 coaches

La Mesa is rated 'A' by the BBB but La Mesa is not BBB accredited either because they didn't seek accreditation and/or they chose not to meet the accreditation standards. Been there a few times browsing the inventory and was put off by the less than professional sales staff. They have their share of detractors/bad customer feedback. Just be sure you have your bases covered in your purchase contract documentation. Given a choice, I would go with a family owned business but I understand such businesses typically can't float the range of brands and inventory a giant like La Mesa can. BTW we purchased our used coach from a Craigslist/RV Trader owner.
