2016 Pace Arrow 38B Passenger side slide/bed angle

All,

I thought I posted this already, but can't find the thread now. The passenger slide on our pace arrow doesn't seem to extend far enough. When fully extended, the bed tilts down toward the head. It's so bad we've taken to making the bed opposite from the way it is laid out and we'd rather have our heads elevated than our feet! Anyone else experience this? I have looked at pictures online of other units and it seems this may be a problem across all of these units. Before I get to deep into whether or not the slide is malfunctioning, I thought I'd ask here!

Thanks everyone......iamholm

Assuming that you slideout is fully extended. Have you checked the mounting brackets on the outside wall? I had aon ongoing problem with my 2017 38B and they had to replace the the hinges that supported the bed to the wall. The dealer contacted Fleetwood for recommendations and fixed the issue after the phone call to the factory.

Give the factory a call!

I hadn't thought about checking the mounting brackets. Although we were having the issue before, once we replaced the mattress it became much more pronounced. The replacement mattress is much heavier than the original and might have compromised those brackets even more. I'll have to take a look and contact Fleetwood. Thank you!
