2017 35k Carefree awnings

how can I bypass the auto retract on my carefree awning? A tine breeze or just brushing it causes retracting. only switches are out/in, not any power on off.

I've tried the box on end cap of awning but if I remove wires nothing will work.

Got to be a fuse of ??? in line?

There is a power post for the awning inside the BCC.
I don't recommend this as this awning does not have down arms. It's only held on with a few lag screws up top.
It comes in easily for a reason. Best of luck to you if you disconnect the power to it.
They also sell a less sensitive motion sensor. You can call Carefree for that. I have it and wasn't happy with that either. That doesn't have the long press the retract button to come in after you release the button.
You can also adjust the arms with an allen. If these are loos the awning comes in pretty easy. Check the manual on how to adjust the awning properly.
I don't make it much on here anymore so will not see your reply to my comment. Drop me a direct message and when I come back on I will see it.

If your awning has the BT12 wireless awning control system, you can download the Carefree Connects Wireless App and adjust the motion sensitivity. 070029-201r1 Carefree-Connects-Mobile-App-Manual has details.
