2017 Fleetwood Discovery LXE - sweeper seals
Hi there,
We are new Fleetwood Discovery owners. 2017 Discovery LXE 40E. We just picked her up and now time for some TLC a couple of the wiper seals need to be replaced. I have searched high and low but can't find any. Has anyone changed theirs recently. There is a 1/4 screw at the bottom and once removed it seems to come out easily. It pushes into a channel. I can find plenty with the crimp on the side but not on the back. The Fleetwood site wasn't much help either.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Glenn and Karen

I'm not 100% sure of the item your looking for , any chance you could post a photo .
For many RV seals , a trip through this sites could prove interesting.

If you haven’t checked it out, the Discovery Owners Association, Inc., is a great source from seasoned owners. Yes I have had one sweep replaced at a repair facility. They didn’t seem to think it was a difficult job and only charged me an hour labor.

Thanks. Yes very simple. It took me approx 2 hours to replace all 6 on our rig. I took my time to remove all residue from slides that remained from the old seals.
