2017 Headlight LED Rewire ?

Has anyone rewired their front LED lights that are by the headlights so they would be on with just the daylight running lights? I like the looks of them but they only come on with the headlights. Thanks in advance for any tips...

I did that very thing on my 2016 Storm. Used the power lead to the mirror heater as a trigger for a new relay mounted at the battery and wired the relay directly to the 10 LEDs.. I too like the look and convinced myself that there is some (small) safety/visibility value. On my coach the lights are mounted individually with rubber grommets and several of mine had deteriorated to the point they were about to fall out. No worry, Fleetwood sells whole lights individually for less than $5 each. Easy, inexpensive mod!

My coach has an LED strip on the front. I went back up the wire cover that is split to the point the LED wires were connected into the coach wiring harness, snipped it off there. Then just connect the ends inside the daytime light wire cover, to the wires there. Generally speaking, the current draw of some small LED lights is so minimal it doesn't need a separate relay for the power. Watch the polarity.
