2023 freshwater capacity
At the Tampa show we looked at the gas fleetwoods especially the Bounders and was surprised at the 50 gallon fresh water capacity and the low gray and black capacity. Good luck boondocking with those units.

Your post got my attention as I had previously owned a 35E.
Here’s the specs I found on a 2023 35K

Freshwater is 100 gal.
But no the bounder isn't a good boondocker if that is your thing due to the macerator toilets.

They changed from vacuflush to macerators in 2019 (or 2020) I believe. Maybe there is a floorplan that has a gravity, but most if not all new ones are macerators now

I know I saw it on the counter top of Fleetwood RV’s in the Fleetwood area of the show. It was a mater of conversation amongst several of lookers around me.

I would not make a great deal out of it. My 2012 Bounder 35k has the vacuflush. I just completed a 8 days with 2 adults trip. Before the trip I calculated it was 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of water for a good flush. That gives you about 50 to 60 flushes before tank is near full. I was at 30 flushes (you should keep track) at end of trip and tank sensor hit 2/3 full. I would feel comfortable with 40 to 50 flushes.
Like they say.. “if it’s yellow, let it mellow… if brown flush it down”. That’s the nice thing about the 35k having 2 bathrooms… each person has their own toilet.
We also both showered every day and still had over 1/4 freshwater (20+ gallons) of the 85 gallons left. I estimate we could have made it another 2 days. So 10 days would be our max before needing to dump/refill.

This is one reason our family of 3 have a bunkhouse rv that has 6 beds and a bath and a half. 70 fresh 90 black and 90 grey. In a pinch I can bring in fresh water do wish the fresh was larger.

Our Bounder 33C has 100 gal fresh which is plenty but with the Dometic 7640 macerator toilet at .83 gals of water per flush plus any additions you might add they needed to increase the size of the black thank, it's only 42 gals which sounds like a lot but trust me it isn't.

Mine also has the 42 gal black tank. 40 to 50 flushes capable. I agree a larger tank would be nice. The black tank capacity is the limiting factor on our Boondocking.
I guess I could always use the Journey dump valve method…haha…. for those of you who get the reference….

With 100 Gallons of fresh and my installation of 2400 Watts of solar and 25,000 Watt hours of lithium, plus the samsung residential fridge makes the Bounder a great platform for boondocking. In addition, I removed the Vacuflush and put in a composting toilet (gone with the wynns) for a more sanitary system. I thought it was dumb to use the fresh water supply to flush a toilet and don't have the hassle of dump. I boondock 330 days a year and can be out a month at a time.

Yep........some Class A's (I have owned 2) have relatively low gray tank capacity, especially vs. a fifth wheel trailer, which results in short dump intervals. Black capacity are similar. Fresh water capacity is adequate since we rarely boondock.
