I found this info on the etrailer.com site:
Question: Slide out power gear 520491 replacement?
asked by: Jim A
Expert Reply:
The correct replacement for a Power Gear Slide Out Motor 520491 is the Replacement PowerGear RV Above Floor Slide-Out Motor part # LC368417.

Thanks for the reply Gary, but my motor is a single shaft & etrailer`s is a dual shaft -- I did search etrailer before & didn`t find what I needed -- It goes on the bedroom , above floor slide -- If I can figure how to post pictures from my ipad, I`ll do that --
I`ve redone a few coaches for this client, & have reminded him many times, do not purchase an older coach that has slide-out problems , or any other appliance /mechanical problem -- Replacement parts are so hard to find -- William Willard

Maybe submit a photo and part number to the tech support folks at etrailer and note that their recommended part number replacement doesn't match yours. They are pretty good at getting the nitty-gritty details right but obviously there is a mismatch here.
Power Gear doesn't make motors and odds are that some motor manufacturer somewhere makes that style, or something close enough to work ok. Just got to figure out what it is. If not some RV-oriented source like etrailer or Lippert or Recpro, then maybe direct from a motor builder.

Thanks for your help -- I think that I`ve found a replacement on Amazon - It`by Klauber # K 01265M 400 -- All the specs match the Power Gear -- Amazon has a 30 day return, so it`s worth a shot -- I`ll post results pro or con after I get it in service -- The price is $470.00 -- William Willard

So, just a thought, make sure they have the same torque value as the one you’re replacing. If different the the slide will not close properly. You may have to change both motors!! Yuck!!

Bed slide is back in operation, & works as it should -- I did install rollers on the floor for the bed to roll on -- Then modify the bed frame for rollers to roll on -- I`ve done a lot of carpet replacement on many different makes of coaches & this is the first one that didn`t have rollers to support the bed --
Bonron --- This slide ( Power Gear/ Lippert) uses only one single shaft motor --

So you installed that one and it worked I assume based on your recent post...

Yes it does work -- Same 4 bolt mount & same 12v wiring -- Seems to travel at the same speed -- The motor is a bit larger & heaver but gear housing is the same --

Did it come with a gear on the end of the shaft?
The reason I ask is that gear is known for breaking teeth and is had to get.

If you Google or go to Amazon , enter Klauber K 01265M400 you will see the shaft -- No gear , just a pin that slips into a slot -- The gear is inside the slide -- That gear would probably be a real problem to find & that was my fear when I first found the slide screwed up -- Machine shop would be your best source --
