33a or 33d?

We are bounder 33c owners for about a year. Really enjoyed going cross country and up to Canada this past summer. We loved it!! So now we are thinking of getting a diesel pusher. We are looking at a 2013 33a, or 2015 33d. Looks like the 33a is no longer being made. Any ideas why? Our problem is that there are no nearby dealers selling these and we cannot look at them in person. So anyone who has one, it would help if you could let us know how you like them. I love the kitchen area and the fact that the table can be a dining or coffee table. Our question with that unit is, does the table always stay there? Is it in the way when the sides are closed and I walk back to the bathroom or somewhere? Does the sofa become a bed and if so, where does the table go then? As for the 33d, there is no pull out pantry, like in the bounder and 33a. Has anyone felt like they didn't have enough kitchen cabinets in that one? We like the shower on the opposite side, so someone can be using the sink while the other one showers. Seems like a nice feature. Any input here on our decision would be really appreciated.

We have the 33D and never saw a 33a, for whatever reason they discontinued that model.
For us, the 33D has plenty of cabinet space and does have a pantry, but it is not pull out as well as a upright storage compartment on the opposite wall.
But, in the end it's the floor plan that works best for you, love the fact the excursion is a DP, has good to very good components, could use a little more HP but that's debatable who you talk to, the end result is a very nice MH at a decent price point.
The split shower is nice, one can use the toilet and not have to wait if someone is showering, the split bath also makes the toilet area user friendly and you don't feel like your in a box sitting on the thrown as well the same for the vanity area, the shower isn't occupying the same space.
As for the rest of the MH, there are a couple of threads dedicated to the Excursion which can be helpful before you purchase.
Your a RV owner, so you know these things can have issues, it's the nature of the beast, all in all the Excursion is a nice MH, buy the floor plan that makes you happy, the 33D is a nice floor plan and the pic's I saw of the 33a looks nice as well, don't fret over discontinued, they are the same MH with a different layout.
