34b vs 36h

I posted in another thread but I thought this mite be a better spot .

2014 34b vs 36h both have 228 inch wheel base but one is 2 foot longer in the back overhang .

so would the 34 drive better with less overhang or not much difference ?

thank you
mike

I assume you are considering the Bounder Classic? I doubt you would notice much difference in the handling with a 2' difference in length. You might notice a little more tendency to tail-drag when leaving steep driveways with the longer one though.

I don't think you'll notice any difference at all.

Get the one you or other half likes the floor plan the best.
You will be in it parked longer then driving it.

As I posted on another thread, a 228" WB seems short for that size MH. As comparison the Allegro 35ft has a 242" WB and the 36LA has a 252" WB. I don't know what other brands specs are. I do know that my 36LA handles very well.

We have a bounder classic 34b 2012 (on a 2011 chassis) with 228 wheel base and 19.5 wheels. I can't tell difference in ride quality. I do feel the wag slightly in rear but less now with the quick chassis fix. We used to get pushed around by motorcycles and small cars. We are going to tow a 2013 wrangler. I'm wondering if that will affect the wag with longer wheel base. I thought the new 34b came with the longer wheel base?

I have 2011 Bounder Classic 34M, I have a problem w/ rear end noise/whine. Does your 2012 have any rear end noise. This happens between 58-68+/-

A little. The manual says it is normal engine fan noise and will be mistaken as transmission noise. We also fave hollow tubes on grill that make noise.
